my thoughts
and notes on the CD:
It's
not fully complete yet, but getting there. This is an album inspired
by instrumental hip-hop artists like DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Saru,
and others. I wanted to go for a dark, brooding feel, like something
by Beauty's Confusion but without the female vocal aspect. I threw
in dialogue from films and random public domain sources, that is
why the album is called "Dialogue." Sometimes you can
get a powerful message and emotion across with some music and very
few words, spoken in conversation. I'm proud of this record thus
far. I started the music for it way back in 2003 but finally am
near completion. An introspective record, to say the least.
